Hazelgreen Cemetery is located across the Laclede County line, ¾ mile on Interstate 44.

Hazelgreen Cemetery has about 80 unmarked graves. This is a large cemetery, with many family surnames. It is possible that a church was located here at one time, but that is only an educated guess. One of the oldest graves marked with a tombstone dates to 1867. One of the older stones belongs to William Reed Miller who was shot and killed by his father-in-law, William Andrew Jackson, June 20, 1887. Jackson was tried the following summer and the shooting was ruled self defense. Edgar Shelton was killed in action on the last day of the Battle of Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands during World War II February 3rd, 1944.
