Dry Creek Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., east of St. Robert, near the 14 mile railroad spur, constructed in 1941, that connects Newburg to Fort Leonard Wood. The cemetery is on private property, on land known as the Fred Gray Farm.
Dry Creek Cemetery may contain remains that were reburied here after Big Piney River Cemetery (location unknown) was damaged by flooding circa 1890. It is known that at least two tombstones were relocated here, those belonging to William M. and Mary Ousley. Local folklore recounts that several Irish laborers, who worked on the never completed railroad line through the southern part of Pulaski County are buried here in unmarked graves. The earliest dated stone is that of Charles H. Ousley, a young son of T.B. and M.A, in 1871. There are several tombstones from this era, and at least two belonging to Masons.
