BRIAN LANDON CLEMENTS, 1982-1990

Brian Landon Clements of Plato, Missouri, son of David and Alta Clements, was born March 28, 1972, in Waynesville, MO; and passed away Wednesday, May 30, 1990 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO; as the result of an automobile accident. Brian was 18 years old.
Brian had just completed his Junior year at Plato High School. He was active in Industrial Arts, Science, and FBLA. He also helped with the family business.
Brian was a member of the Christian Church of Roby. He was active in both the Christian Church and Roby Baptist Church Youth Groups.
During Brian's free time, he enjoyed his Chevy S-10 pickup, his Thump stereo, and spending time with his girlfriend Amy. He lived each day to the fullest. Brian will be sadly missed by his family, friends and classmates.
He is survived by his parents, David and Alta Clements of Plato; his paternal grandmother, Dorthea Clements of Plato; his maternal grandmother, Willa M. Coonts of Illinois; two brothers, Jim of Illinois and Wade of Florida; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 1, 1990, at the Roby Baptist Church with Rev. Clinton Taylor officiating. Music was provided by Janice Smith, Sheldon Zook, and Norman Zook. They were accompanied by Mrs. Norman Zook. Serving as escorts were Mike Adams, Michael Earp, David Ingle, Colin Long, Greg Lund, Mike Phillips, Mike Quick, and Donald Bilderback.
Burial was in the Palace Union Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel. A memorial has been established in the name of Brian Clements.
