He was a member of the Christian Church of Iberia, and a lifelong resident of Pulaski County.
Dorsey is survived by one brother, Frank, of Crocker, one sister, Dorothy Myers of Texas; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Henry A., Rockford McKinley; Ralph Trego, John and Jacob Jackson; two sisters, Ada Lee Stout and Elizah Katheryn Goff.
Funeral services were held from the Colonial Funeral Chapel, at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 1985, with John Davenport, Minister, officiating. The organist was Marcia Shadel.
Burial was in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Chapel.
Escorts were Roy Henry, Bill Salsman, B. P. Thacker, Dale Fritts, Victor Henson and Claude Hickey.
