EMMA JANE SNODERLY 1895-1990

Emma Jane Snoderly, daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Eliza Jane (Cotton) Houston, was born July 10, 1895, at Bagnell, MO, and departed this life June 7, 1990, at Lake Ozark General Hospital, Osage Beach, MO, at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 28 days.

She was united in marriage to Lee D. Snoderly on September 27, 1917. They were long-time members of Beulah Baptist Church.

Survivors include four children; Ruby Lee Goforth of Richland; Roy Leland Snoderly of La Hambra, CA; Juanita Mae Pugh of Lebanon, and Glynn Houston Snoderly of Long Beach, CA; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 9 brothers, 5 sisters, her husband and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m., under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapel. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery. Escorts were Don Goforth, Greg Snoderly, Dave Ortman, Bob Goforth, Bill Buck, and Rick Beeson.
