In January of 1965, he was united in marriage with Linda Bozinski, and to this union was born one son.
On November 23, 1944, he professed his faith in Christ and became a member of the Idumea Baptist Church, where he remained until his death.
Darriel was the area supervisor with C&H Sugar Company in Crockett, CA, for several years.
He served with the United States Army from February, 1952, until January, 1954.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Davenport, Waynesville; one son, Darriel William Davenport, Jr., of Pacific, MO; one brother, Floyd Davenport of Labadie, MO; two sisters, Evelyn Vaughn of Brentwood, CA and Johnnie Brown, St. Petersburg, FL; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Davenport, and one sister, Betty Davenport.
