He was married on July 29, 1980, to Dorothy Simmons.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son Roderick Myers of Las Vegas NV; brothers L. G. Myers of Richland and Dr. B. J. Myers of Licking; sisters Ilene McCoy, Norma Eppison, Ruby Hamilton, Velma McQueary, and Dorothy Miles of Kirksville, Bernice Quinn of Licking, and Marjorie Voie of Iola WI; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Dr. Richard Myers, Vernie Myers, and one in infancy.
Services were held September 6 at 10 a.m. at the Colonial Funeral Chapel.
