STELLA MARIE BATES, 1899-1990

Funeral services for Stella Marie Bates, 91, of Waynesville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31, in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at 1 p.m. that afternoon in the Oak Hill Cemetery north of Houston.

Mrs. Bates, a homemaker, died Friday in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, in the funeral home.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Willa Dean Bates of Waynesville; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
