Martin Evecilla Perret 1913-1984

Martin Evecilla Perret was born August 11, 1913 in the Phillipines, and he departed this life August 29, 1984 at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, in his 71st year.

He enlisted in the United States Army December 31, 1942, and served during World War II, Korea, and Japan. He received numerous service medals and awards. He retired from Military service September 1, 1966. He was a member of Waynesville-St. Robert V.F.W Post 3176. He is survived by his wife Sue, of the home, and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 1, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Father Jack Pender officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors was in the V.F.W. Ozark Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Those serving as escorts were Military. There was a Vigil Service held Friday, August 31, 1984 at 7:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with deacon Bob Bixby leading.
