Tombstone Inscriptions of Pulaski County notes that there are several graves that are marked with rocks, no names or identification. Nellie Stites Wills, speaks of Antioch Cemetery in her book, The First Hundred Years of Crocker. The first church in the vicinity of Crocker was the Baptist Church of Antioch, established 1868. It was estbalished by Rev. Thomas J. Zumwalt and Rev. Milton Hibbs. The building was a log one, and instead of the church there now is a cemetery on the site.

"The first grave was for Wood Layman's wife, who while well and hearty selected the spot where she wanted to be buried one Sunday-Took suddenly ill and was buried there the following Sunday."

There is no listing for Mrs. Wood Layman in Tombstone Inscriptions of Pulaski County. It is possible that she never had a stone, that it is no longer legible, or that it has been destroyed by the elements.
