She was a member of the Stoney Point Baptist Church of Mt. Grove, Missouri, where she was saved and baptized. She was a faithful follower of her Master.
Sally lathrom was married to James O. Burrough July 1941. Mr. Burrough was a soldier and they traveled extensively. She loved nature and spent much tome out doors.
She is survived by one son- Joe Burrough and one daughter Betty Payne, both of Lebanon, Missouri. Four brothers- Al Lathrom of Tacoma, Washington, Jack Lathrom of Bismarck, Missouri, Robert Lathrom of Richland, Missouri and Don Lathrom of Clarence, Missouri. Three sisters- Nellie Stoll of Waynesville, Missouri, Wanda Lathrom of Marshall, Missouri, and Marjorie Stoll of Richland, Missouri. Her step-father, Robert of Lebanon, Missouri. Five grandchildren, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and one daughter, her mother and father. Three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 6, 1084 at 10:00 a.m. in the Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Don Martin officiating.
Music was furnished by organist Mildred Dye and Soloist Tina Cross.
Interment was in the Buckhorn Baptist Church Cemetery, under direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
Those serving as escorts were Leland Brown, Joe Burrough, Robert Lathrom, Robert Payne, Joe Spencer, and Don Lathrom.
