Doris Marie (Ogle) Hendricks 1938-2002

Doris Marie Hendricks, daughter of Junie and Minnie Marie Barnett Ogle was born Jan. 26, 1938 in Richland and departed this life July 6, 2002, at her home in Richland at the age of 65 years, five months and ten days.   

On March 23, 1957, she was united in marriage with Garner Hendricks, and to this union was born two daughters. 

She was employed by the H.D. Lee Company for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, canning and being with her family and friends. She especially loved the time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by two daughters, Regina Decker and her husband Bill of Swedeborg, Paula Case and her husband Dale of Richland; for brothers, Clifford, Ralph and Gary Ogle, all of Richland; Harold Gene Ogle of Bellville, Mich.; three sisters, Margaret Frederick, Montreal; Marsha Patton, Richland; Theresa Springer, Marshfield; five grandchildren, Andrew, Robert and J.W. Decker, Lucas and Emily Case; two great-grandchildren, Ruth Anna and Sammie Decker; other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garner Hendricks, one brother, Tennis Ogle and two sisters, Mary Louise Durreman and Evelyn Perkins. 

Doris was a loving, caring person and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Services were held Wednesday, July 9, 10 a.m. at Colonial Chapel with Pastor Doug Jacobson and Rev. Bill Claiborn officiating. Music was provided by Lucas Case and Jimmy Moore. 

Escorts were Bill Decker, Clifford Ogle, Ralph Ogle, Dale Case, Gene Ogle, and Gary Ogle. Honorary escorts were Hadley Frederick, Danny Patton, and Steve Springer.
