Daisy Prewett 1902-1919

Daisy, the 17 year old daughter of Rout Prewett died Friday morning, Jan 17th of Spanish influenza, at her home in the Steel Bridge neighborhood. The entire family, except Pryor, has been suffering with this malady for several days.

The deceased was a very beautiful and accomplished young lady and will be greatly missed in that community, especially by her sister Minnie. Mrs. Prewitt, having died about three years ago, the two girls were keeping house for their father.

Interment Saturday in the Pisgah Cemetery, Rev. W.V. Rook of Waynesville, conducting the funeral services.
