Jeptha “Jep” William Turner 1892-1982

Jeptha “Jep” William Turner 90, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday morning at Pulaski County Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be at the Waynesville Memorial Funeral Chapel after 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held Saturdays, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Waynesville with Rev. Wilbur Harbaugh officiating.

Interment will be in the Colley Hollow Cemetery under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

He was a long time farmer and carpenter in the Waynesville area and a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Irene Carter, Laquey, Missouri and elsie Clift of Bryan, Texas, four sons, Theron Turner, Waynesville, Missouri, Bud Turner, Waynesville, Missouri, Edward Turner, Fort Worth, Texas, and Bill Turner, New York City, New York, two half brothers-Charles Turner, Richland, Missouri and Joe Turner, Springfield, Missouri, four half sisters-Emma Pennell, Richland, Missouri, Rosanna Moore, Springfield, Missouri, Jossie Johnson, Slater, Missouri and Pearl Turner, Millan, Missouri, 27 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
