Lester W. York 1915-1977

Lester W. York, age 62, of the Mt. Gibson community, south of Waynesville, passed away at his home on Tuesday. Mr. York, an employee of the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital, was found in the yard by his son when he stopped for a visit.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at Mt. Gibson Baptist Church, with interment in the Mt. Gibson Cemetery under the direction of Long Moss Williams Funeral Home of Waynesville.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine of the home. 2 sons, Darrell and Richard, both of Waynesville and 2 sisters, Pansy Williams of Waynesville and Lena Robinson of Richland and 7 grandchildren.
