Nona was born on May 22, 1927 in Waynesville, MO to Henry Harley and Bessie Jane (Williams) Harmon.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
On December 26, 1944 Nona married Arthur York in Waynesville.
Mrs. York is survived by her husband Arthur of the home; daughter, Louise Bealmear and husband James of Mexico, son, Larry York and wife Bonnie of Fillmore, N.Y., son, Alan York and wife Jody of Centralia, daughter, Vicki Crum and husband A.T., Jr. of Mexico; son Douglas York of Mexico; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a sister Delores Imogene Shephard.
Mrs. York was preceded in death by her parents; three infant sisters; and three brothers.
