Gene Farnham 1924-1995

Gene Farnham, 70, Waynesville, died Wednesday at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Ft. Leonard Wood. He was born June 13, 1924 in Iberia, a son of W. L. and Augusta P. Copeland Farnham. He was married September 10, 1942 in Crocker, to Maxine Ballew, who survives at the home.

A businessman in the Waynesville area for 50 years, he was a member of Masonic Lodge 375 AF & AM, and the Lion's Club. Other survivors include: one daughter, Susan Morriss, Waynesville; one brother, Don R. Farnham, Iberia; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Waynesville Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Old Stagecoach Stop Foundation.
