Myrtle Burton 1912-1980

Myrtle Burton, daughter of Wesley and Lizzi Williams Burton, was born February 14, 1912, in Portageville, Missouri and departed this life December 27,1980 at the Fort Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 31, 1980 at 11:00 a.m. with Major Lindell E. Anderson officiating,

Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers were:  Larry Reeves, Tony Reeves, Harold Brigance, Vernon Ford, Roy Burton and George Burton.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Charles Brigance of Richland; three brothers, Roy, George and Floyd Burton of the state of Michigan; three sisters, Frances Graves of Michigan, Katherine Nolin of Florida, and Elsie Glasstetter of Michigan; three grandsons and other relatives.
