Alonzo B. Ousley Of Newburg Dies In Waynesville Hospital
Alonzo Burton Ousley, aged 75, of Newburg, died at the Pulaski County General Hospital Sunday. Mr. Ousley was born March 28, 1884 in Waynesville and had been a life-long resident of that area.
Survivors include his wife Tilda, of Newburg, a daughter, Mrs. Ralph C___ of Dixon; four sons: Frank, Crawford, S____, and Everett Ousley; three brothers: Charles B___ of Granite City, Illinois, Nathan Ousley of Waynesville, and Henry Ousley of Springfield;; two sisters: Mrs. Anna Case and Mrs. Mary Boatman; 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ousley was a retired worker of the Frisco Railroad and was a former marshal of Newburg.
Funeral services were held in the Lee Johnson Funeral Chapel at Newburg at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Pruett officiating. Burial was in the Newburg Cemetery.
