Cora Belle Booker Dies At Age 62 Years, Was Mother Mrs. Elsie Martin

Cora Bell Booker, daughter of W.M. and Delitha Miller was born April 23, 1888 near Crocker, Missouri and departed this life November 28, 1950, making her age at time of death 62 years, 7 months and five days.

She was united in marriage to Willet Booker August 13, 1907. To this union eight children were born. Elsie Martin, Waynesville, Missouri, Tess Booker, Salem, Missouri, Frank Booker, Licking, Missouri, Goldie Miller of Saginaw, Michigan, Bessie Clark of Crocker, Missouri, Fred Booker of Licking, Missouri, Edna Hilbrenner of Licking, Missouri, and Albert (Jack) Booker, who is in the armed forces, and is stationed in Granite City, Illinois.

Mr. and Mrs. Booker lived near Devil’s Elbow, Missouri until about eight years ago when they moved to a farm near Hazelton, Missouri, where they spent the rest of their married life.

Mrs. Booker was a kind and loving wife and mother. She was a good neighbor and loved by all who knew her. She had been in failing health for several years and about a week ago she had a stroke, which was the cause of her death.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and eight children, six sisters, and two brothers, twelve grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.

Her faith was holiness and she said some time ago that she was ready to meet her Lord. Her father, mother, five sisters
