Evialena Laughlin Rigsby 1894-1982

Evialena Laughlin Rigsby was born on July 31, 1894 at Pulaski County, Missouri, the daughter of Samuel and Mary (York) Laughlin and passed away on November 20, 1982 at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital after attaining the age of 88 years, 3 months, and 20 days.

She married Claude Rigsby on September 22, 1915 and unto this union three children were born, one son, Elmer and two daughters, Bernadine and Virginia.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Waynesville, a member of the Hanson Lodge No. 22 of Eastern Star of Waynesville, Missouri, having served as past Worthy Matron and having her 50 year pin.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, November 22, 1982 at the Long Moss Williams Chapel in Waynesville, Missouri with Rev. Jess Norris officiating at 2 p.m.

Burial was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Long Moss Williams Funeral Home of Waynesville, Missouri.

Pallbearers were: J.C. Hardy, Terry Hardy, Rob Quin, Dale Daniel, Jay Brinson, and John Ichord.

Those left to mourn her passing are 1 son: Elmer Rigsby, Waynesville, Missouri, 2 daughters, Bernadine Hunt, Springfield, Missouri, Virginia Hardy, Monroe City, Missouri, 11 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
