Faye Lessey 1923-2009

Faye was the daughter of Eunice N. (Smith) and Charles T. Allen. She was born Sept. 28, 1923 at Arma Kansas. She passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the age of 85, at the Waynesville Life Care Center.
Faye was baptized into Christ at the age of 14 and lived faithfully for Christ until her death. She attended the Church of Christ in Summersville for many years. When Faye and Dale moved to the St. Robert’s area, they were very faithful members of the St. Robert Church of Christ. She was a retired nurse’s aide.
She married Johnnie A. Davidson Aug. 20, 1942. He pre-deceased her Sept. 25,1990. Their children, Kay McClure; Vernon R. Davidson and Nancy F. Cooper survive her, together with their spouses, Mac McClure; Mary Ann Davidson and Lawrence Cooper, they gave her seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Faye married Dale B. Lessy, previously from Colorado, Nov. 15, 1993. Their years together were happy and contented. They made their home in Summersville, MO until 2003. When they moved to St. Robert, MO where they resided until their deaths.
Faye’s parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Sibling that survive her are two sisters and one brother. Many nieces, nephews and friends will mourn her passing.
Faye will rest in the Midvale Cemetery between her two husbands, Johnnie and Dale.
Graveside Services were held Friday, May 22nd, 2009, at Midvale Cemetery at 1 PM with Bro. William Fleener and Bro Randall Duvall officiating. Interment was in Midvale Cemetery under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
