Georgia Gail (Gammons) Eldredge 1901-1984

Services for Georgia Eldredge were held at Colonial Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 1984. Officiating at the services was Roger Marshall. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, Soloist; and Marcia Shadel, Organist. Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Escorts were: Jimmy Doyle, Jim Doyle, Robert Burnett, David Burnett, Mike Poynor, and Dennie Burnett. Under direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.

Georgia Gail Eldredge, daughter of Robert and Amy Bliss Gammons, was born November 12, 1901 in McLeansboro, Illinois, and passed away in Wichita, Kansas on January 28, 1984. At the time of her passing, she had attained the age of 82 years, 2 months and 16 days.

She was united in marriage in 1922 to Euge Eldredge and to this union was born 4 children.

Georgia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richland, Missouri.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Evelyn and 1 son, Euge, Jr.; 5 brothers, Enno, warren, Ben, Norman, and an infant brother; 5 sisters, Frances, Nannie, Hattie, Winifred, and Marjory.

Those left to mourn her passing are 1 son, Ed (Harold) Eldredge of Salina, Kansas; 1 daughter, Frances Adams of Wichita, Kansas; 1 sister, Marie Gray of Crocker, Missouri; 16 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
