She was born Aug. 10, 1934, in Hanna, Mo., to Orville E. and Wilma L. (Edwards) Brandon.
Survivors include sons Gene Johns of Las Vegas, and Micheal Langston of Tooele, Utah; daughters Vicki (David) VanSpeybroeck of Henrietta, Mo., Dena Sisco of Richmond and Patty (Fred) Rebujio of Tooele; brother Robert (Gayle) Brandon of Clinton, Mo.; sister Betty (Elvis) Ogle of Richland, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, James G. Bowler; one brother and three sisters.
She was of the Christian faith and had lived in Waynesville and Amargosa Valley before moving to Richmond in 2008.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shirkey Foundation.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
