Services Held For Youth Killed in Vietnam Aug. 20
The body of Warrant Officer Michael Harlamert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fatley, of Route 1, Dixon, was returned here for services and burial this week.
Warrant Officer Harlamert was killed Aug. 20 in Vietnam when he was serving as a helicopter pilot. He was a graduate of the Waynesville High School and well known in this area.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Larry B. of Fort Walters, Texas, and Kenneth of the home, a sister Sharon, also of the home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Harlamert of Hartville; and maternal grandfather, Noah Davis also of Hartville.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday at the Moss-Williams Chapel in Waynesville and funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Hartville with burial in the Steele Memorial Cemetery at Hartville with full military rites.
