Wesley had lived in Noble for a year and a half moving to Waynesville, Missouri in January this year. He attended Noble High School and Crocker High School in Missouri, and Ft. Wood Vo Tech in Missouri. He attended the First Baptist Church in Noble. He was a member of the Order of DeMolay, Heidelburg Chapter in Heidelburg, Germany.
Survivors include his parents, one brother, Kenneth Scott Wheeler of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his paternal grandfather, Dorel Wheeler of Grand Prairie, Texas; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clara Jane Kershaw of Noble, his maternal grandmother, Goldie Stokes of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Wesley E. Wheeler was held Sunday, July 22, 1984 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel. Additional services were held Tuesday, July 24, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. in the McMahan’s Funeral Chapel in Noble, Oklahoma, and interment was in the Noble IOOF Cemetery.
