Gerry Lynn (Kelley) Gibson 1953-2009

Gerry Lynn Kelley Gibson was born July 2, 1953, to Kenneth and Lorraine (Ray) Kelly in Waynesville, Missouri. Gerry was married to Fred Gibson in August, 1969. Gerry Lynn professed her faith at an early age and was raised in church all her life.
Gerry enjoyed playing softball and won many trophies; also bowling league's. Spending time with her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. She also enjoyed singing and playing the piano and the organ in church and at home.
Gerry was a waitress for years in many local restaurants in the area including the Hub, Deville, Fuggitts, Ted Williams and Dottie's Restaurant.
Gerry passed from this life Feb. 3, 2009, in Jefferson City at the age of 55 years.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Melissa (Gibson) Greenwood.
Gerry is survived by two sons: Freddie Gibson and Randy Gibson, both of St. Robert; five brothers: Dale Kelley and his wife, Lucile, of Waynesville, Rick Kelley and his wife, Teri, of St. Louis, Charles Kelley and his wife, Theresa, of St. Louis, Tony Kelley of Ill., Jim Kelley and his wife, Sherry, of Waynesville; five sisters: Brenda Medley and her husband, William, of Newburg, Christina Banning of Waynesville, Linda Whiting of Okla., Sandra Salveston and her husband, Dave, of Mont., Phyllis Smith and her husband, Jim, of Evening Shade; two grandchildren: John Hunter Greenwood and Ethan Jacob Greenwood. Gerry will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, from 5 to 8p.m. at the New Beginnings Revival Center, 24675 Hwy 17 Waynesville. The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the New Beginnings Revival Center in Waynesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Teague and Sons Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Waynesville Memorial Park in Waynesville, Missouri. All arrangements were made under the direction of Teague and Sons Funeral Home.
