Linda Mae (Sweeney) Click 1949-1986

Linda Mae (Sweeney) Click was born a daughter of Franklin A. and Lillian Sweeney August 4, 1949 in Washington D.C., Prince Georges County, and passed away Saturday morning, November 15, 1986 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri at the age of 37 years.

Linda and her family lived in Suitland, Maryland.  She attended Mt. Calvary Catholic Elementary School.  She also attended the Suitland Junior and Senior High School.

Linda married Danny Click October 3, 1969 at Upper Marlboro, Maryland.  At that time, Danny was serving in the U.S. Army in Belvoir, Virginia.  From 1971-1975, the family was stationed at Ft. Richardson, Alaska.  After that tour of duty, the family was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 17th at the Waynesville Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m., with Father Thomas Dolan officiating.

Pallbearers were Jeff Breedlove, Earl Click, Ronald Dennisn, Austin Freeman, Frank Freeman, and Johnny Freeman.

Honorary escorts were Billy Click and Jerry Podorski.

Burial was in the Freeman-Chapman Cemetery near Edgar Springs, Missouri under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Linda is survived by her husband, Danny of Route 1, Waynesville; two sons Danny Eugene Click Jr., and Delbert Click of the home; three daughters, Lisa Marie Click, and Tracy Lea Click of the home, and Mary Hubbard of the State of Arkansas; her mother, Lilllian Sweeney of the State of Maryland; her grandfather, Edward Sonntag of the State of Maryland; two sisters, Nancy Podorski of St. Louis, Missouri and Debbie Fitzgerald of the State of Virginia; and one brother, Frank Sweeney of the State of Maryland.

Linda will be sadly missed bu all who knew and loved her.
