Robert William Logan 1924-1986

Robert William Logan, son of Snowden H. Logan and Evelyn Doolin Logan was born October 21, 1924 and passed away October 27, 1986, at the age of 62 years and 6 days, at Phelps County Regional Hospital, after a lingering illness.

Bob was born and raised in Waynesville and attended both grade and High School here.  He was a member of Local No. 474 I.O.O.F. and Rebecca Lodge.  He joined the Methodist Church at an early age and gave his life to Christ.  He was united in marriage to Nancy Jean Mayer June 5, 1949 and to this union one daughter was born.  Bob and Nancy spent most of their married life in or around Waynesville, except for 8 years they spent in the State of Washington.  The past 11 years he worked for the Waynesville School System.

Visitation was held at Waynesville Memorial Chapel Wednesday, October 29, 1986, from 4 p.m. til 7:00 p.m. with a Memorial service following.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Nancy of the home, his daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Scott Frandsen of Lake Ozark, Missouri, his mother Evelyn of Waynesville, two sisters Loretta Benavidez of Maplewood, Missouri, and Bessie Hill of Affton, Missouri, one Aunt, Mae Johnson of Waynesville and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Juanita Logan.
