Rose Elaine Wolfe 1947-1986

Rose Elaine Wolfe passed away February 23, 1986 at the age of 38 years, nine months, 14 days.

Rose was born a daughter of Yang Son Kab and Cheong Myung Wha on May 9, 1947 in Seoul, Korea.  She met Cecil Wolfe while he was stationed in Korea with the military armed services.

She later married Cecil at the Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, Silver Springs, Maryland. To this union was born two children: a son, Carl; and a daughter, Kathy.

Her husband returned to civilian life for a short while and then re-enlisted in the army.  He later was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri where she and her family lived for awhile, then moved to their home on Route 1, Dixon, Missouri.

Rose was a Christian and a member of the Korean Baptist Church, Waynesville, Missouri.  She was a Deaconess of the church.  She had also been a Deaconess of the Korean Central Baptist Church in Falls Church, Virginia.  She was a loving wife and mother and a warm loving person.  She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 27, 1986 at 1:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jai Duk Rhee and Rev. Othal L. Hodson officiating.

Music was provided by organist Jean Ely.

Escorts were Joe Bell, Ron Cooley, Chuck Lynn, Chico Paga’n-Nazario, Robert Rosier, and Tom Schasteen.

Interment was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Waynesville, Missouri under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
