Joseph Elson Peters 1912-1986

Joseph Elson Peters was born in Springfield, Illinois on May 2, 1912 and passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 27, 1986.  He had attained the age of 74 years.

He was united in marriage to Marguerite Elkins who preceded him in 1973.

Joe is survived by his daughter and her husband Susan and Felix Pada of Honolulu, Hawaii, 1 son and his wife Joe and Pat Peters of Jeddah, Sauda Arabia and 6 grandchildren, Trisha Ann Pada, Phillip David Pada and Felix Pada Jr., Mike, James and Steven Peters, 1 brother-in-law, Eugene Elkins and his wife Roena of Springfield and many friends.

Memorial services were held in the Long Funeral Chapel in Dixon on Monday, September 1, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Walter Reisinger officiating.  Burial was in the Dixon
