Katherine May (Roth) Metcalf 1897-1982

Katherine May Metcalf of Crocker, Missouri, was born May 2, 1897 at Iuka, Illinois, the daughter of Peter and Wilhelmia Roth and departed this life on November 6, 1982 at the Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon, Missouri. She had attained the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 4 years.

She was united in marriage to Charles Everett Metcalf in 1921 and unto this union two children were born.

She was a member of the Crocker Presbyterian Church, Rebecca Lodge, and the American Legion Auxiliary No. 195 of Crocker, Missouri.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 9, 1982 at the Crocker Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Boutelle officiating. Burial was in the Crocker Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Long Moss Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Robert, of Crocker, Missouri; one daughter and her husband, Katherine and Herbert Hennemann, of St. Louis, Missouri; two granddaughters, Patricia Walden and Nancy Tomiser.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Walter and William, five sisters, Minna, Clara, Ida Stage, Florence Ulvick and Emily Peterson.
