P.R. Rea Allsup 1909-1983

Graveside services for P.R. Allsup were held in the Oaklawn Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 1, 1983. Officiating at the services was Minister Mike Vernon. Under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.

P.R. Rea Allsup was born February 3, 1909 at Kingston, Missouri to John William and Bertha Mabel Adkison Allsup and departed this life November 28, 1983 in St. Louis, Missouri. At the time of his passing he had attained the age of 74 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

He was united in marriage with Mary Gaedig on October 12, 1963.

Rea moved to the St. Louis area in 1950, where he was employed by the Webster Grove School District as Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor.

Those preceding him in death are his parents, three brothers and one sister.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mary of the home; and one half sister, Clara Mae Smith of Springfield, Missouri; also two nieces and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 28, 1983 at 1 p.m. at the Long Moss Williams Chapel in Waynesville, Missouri with Rev. Jess Norris officiating.

Burial was in the Hazelgreen Cemetery of rural Waynesville under the direction of the Long Moss Williams Funeral Home of Waynesville.

Pallbearers were: Daniel Larson, Stephen Larson, David Larson, Thomas Larson, Larv Larson, Tony Larson, and Richard Larson.
