Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife, Helen; one son, Guy, his wife Marti and their daughter Amanda of Elk River; son, Dwayne and his son, Clinton Carroll Wallen of Coon Rapids; son, Brian, his wife, Cathy and their son, Michael of Brooklyn Park; brother, Harlin of Lebanon, Missouri; sister, Leona of Ontario, California; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
There were no services. Arrangements were made by the Cremation Society of Minnesota. Memorials are to be made to the American Cancer Society.
Virgil Carroll was the son of the late Cleve and Emma Carroll of Richland, Missouri.
