Lottie Belle (Jones) Hoops 1893-1983

Lottie Belle Hoops, born October 19, 1893 the daughter of George and Mary Craig Jones at Pittsburg, Missouri, died in the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital in Waynesville on Saturday, December 10, 1983. She had attained the age of 90 years.

Lottie was united in marriage to J.L. Hoops on June 20, 1927.

Lottie Hoops was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters, Eva Hendricks, Anna Patterson, and Agnes Jones.

She is survived by 3 nieces, Mona Mitchell, Crocker; Nadine Erickson, Franklin, Indiana; Ruby Pardun, Franston, Texas; 1 great-niece, Patsy Stackhouse; 4 great-nephews, Jim Mitchell, Crocker; Bill Pardin, frankston, Texas; Eric Lee Erickson, Murrysville, Pennsylvania; Joe Erickson, Franklin, Indiana; 6 step-grandchildren: J.L. Hoops, Jr., Oceanside, California; JoAnn McGregor, Wichita, Kansas; Vivian Lou Jones, Falls Church, Virginia; Betty Eads, Iberia; Mary Ann Kamins, Crocker, Missouri; George Randy Hoops, Springfield, Missouri.

Also surviving are 12 step-great grandchildren, 13 great-great nephews, 2 great-great nieces, 1 great-great-great nephew, and 2 great-great-great nieces.

She was a secretary in the Crocker School System over 25 years and belonged to Methodist Zion Church and had accepted Jesus as her saviour.

Lottie Bell will be sadly missed by all knew and loved her.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, December 12, 1983 at 1 p.m. at the Long Moss Williams Chapel in Crocker, Missouri with Floyd Barlow officiating.

Burial was in the Crocker Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Long Moss Williams of Crocker, Missouri.
