Thomas Henry Roberson d. August 8, 1982

Thomas Henry Roberson was born in Maries County, Missouri, the son of John Franklin and Viola Martin Roberson and passed away in his home in Dixon on Sunday morning, August 8, 1982. He had attained the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 15 days.

He was a member of the Arlington Lodge No. 346 A.F. & A.M. of Dixon and was a retired employee of the City of Dixon.

Funeral services were held in the Long Gilbert Chapel in Dixon on Tuesday, August 10, 1982 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Earl Jones officiating. Burial was in the Dixon Cemetery under the direction of Long Gilbert Chapel of Dixon.

Serving as pallbearers were Masonic Brothers, Gene Burns, Paul Lindsay, Warden Russell, Bruce Richey, Don Helton, and Lloyd Evans. Masonic services were given on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. by Arlington Lodge of Dixon.

He is survived by his wife Chloe of the home in Dixon, two sons, John Roberson of Granite City, Illinois and Clay and daughter-in-law, Mary Roberson of New Boston, Texas, four grandchildren, Elaine Wilkinson, Geg, Jeff, and DeAnna Roberson, two great grandchildren, Tracy and Ryan Wilkinson, one aunt, Mrs. Mae Nelson of Granite City, Illinois with many cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ernest and one sister, Mary Burns.
