Wanda Lee Gan Flynn 1939-1984

Services for Wanda Flynn were held at First Baptist Church 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 1984. Officiating at the services were Rev. Perry Cousins, Rev. Jack Clark, and Rev. Roger Marshall. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, New Horizons and Sharon Gundram, Organist. Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Escorts were: Leroy Massey, Gilbert Whitham, Jim Bill Goforth, Ben Hogland, Sonny Hooker, and Elmer Dean Hutton. Under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.

Wanda Lee Gan Flynn was born to Willard and Nancy Jane Exedine Gan on June 24, 1939 in Pulaski County, Missouri, and passed away at St. John’s Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri, after a long illness. At the time of her passing, Wanda had attained the age of 44 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

Wanda lived her entire life in Pulaski County, and became a Christian at First Baptist Church in Richland, Missouri, where she had remained a member.

On March 9, 1957 she was united in marriage to Dick Flynn, and to this union was born 2 daughters.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Gan. Those surviving her are her husband, Dick, 2 daughters, Mrs. Donna Ashley of Richland, and Lisa of the home; mother Nancy Gan of Waynesville, Missouri; two brothers, Lloyd and Chester Gan, both of Richland; 3 sisters, Martha Tucker of Hazelgreen, Missouri, Mary Patton and Vera York, both of Waynesville, Missouri; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
