Eva Sterling Sundquist 1888-1984

Eva Sterling Sundquist was born January 24, 1888 near Waynesville, Missouri and passed away August 30, 1984, in Grass Valley, California after a short illness. She was 96 years old.

She was the devoted daughter of Robert Sterling Anderson and Louis Adelaine Manes.

Eva was united in marriage to John P. Sundquist on October 7, 1910 in Swedeborg, Missouri. They spent 50 years in the farming industry in Dixon and Richland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, sisters: Ida, Madelaine, Mabel, and Bonnie.

Eva was a member of the Baptist Church for 74 years, moving her church letter from the First Baptist Church in Richland to California when she moved there in 1959.

Survivors include her sister Ann Anderson, Pacific Palisades, California; nieces Lily Anderson Larson, Richland and Virginia (Ginger) Sundquist Marquard, Nevada City, California and nephews Terry and Craig Marquard of Nevada City, California.

Private services were held September 4, 1984 under the direction of Hooper Weaver Mortuary with interment in the Sierra Lawn Cemetery, Nevada City, California. Pastor Andy Owens of the First Baptist Church, Grass Valley officiated.
