Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 8, 1982 at the Long Moss Williams Chapel in Crocker, Missouri at 2 p.m. with Farris Wall officiating.
Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery of Crocker, Missouri under the direction of the Long Moss Williams Funeral Home of Crocker.
He is survived by two daughters: Velma Stokes, Crocker, Missouri; Corrina Nair, Grand Junction, Colorado; two sons: Robert Whittle, Jr., Stoutland, Missouri; James Whittle, Ely, Nevada; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers: Elmer Whittle, Versailles, Missouri, Arthur Whittle, Versailles, Missouri, Everett Whittle, Stover, Missouri; three sisters: Nora Keeth, Versailles, Missouri, Flora Huff, Versailles, Missouri; Dora Lockwood, Harper, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ethel (Barr) Whittle and one daughter, Burnadean Lobmaster.
