Lucy Mae (Echols) Sigler 1922-1985

Lucy Mae (Echols) Sigler, daughter of Terry and Florence (Cavender) Echols was born on January 19, 1922 at Bigfoot, Texas and died February 6, 1985 at the University Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri.

On April 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Sigler in the First Baptist Church of San Antonio, Texas.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the early age of 11, and belonged to the Baptist Church throughout the years, and has taught Sunday Scholl for 39 of those years. Her membership stands with the Center Point Baptist Church of Route 1, Waynesville, Missouri.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth of the home; two daughters: Esther Fenton of Olathe, Kansas, and Kelly Meyer of El Paso, Texas; three sons: Mark of Brimson, Missouri, Pete of Jamesport, Missouri, and Danny of Olathe, Kansas; eight grandchildren, and one sister Mary Louise Reitz of Dallas, texas, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 9, 1985 at 2:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Tallant and Rev. Robert Gifford officiating.

Music was furnished by soloist Joe Lynch and Hannah lynch was organist.

Those serving as escorts were: John Greer, Jimmy Miller, John Perrine, Dale Shetler, Jim Shetler, and Mark Tallant.

Burial was in the Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
