Ricky had attended Richland High School, but at the time of his passing was employed at Lodge of Four Seasons, Osage Beach, Missouri.
He became a Christian at Honey Springs Baptist Church, where he remained a member at the time of his passing.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Charles Durham. Survivors include his parents, Charles and Mildred McComb, three brothers, Carl, Roger, and Darrell, and one sister, Patty, all of the home; Paternal grandparents Burt and Myrtle McComb, Ulman, Missouri; Maternal Grandmother, Mrs. Florence Durham, Richland, Missouri, and other relatives and friends.
Services for Ricky Wayne McComb and Steven Ray McComb were held at Colonial Funeral Chapel 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 1984. Officiating at the services was Rev. Charles Caldwell. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, Soloist; DeLores Shadel, Organist. Burial was in the Mt. Union Cemetery. Escorts were: Kenny Lintz, John Paul McDowell, C.J. Becker, Marvin Wilson, Bill Luttrell, Bill McComb, Tim Helton, Larry Luttrell, Bob Cochran, Ernie Mashburn, Dave Cochran, and Dean Wilson. Under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.
