William A. Starmer 1889-1983

Services for William A. Starmer were held at Colonial Funeral Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 8, 1983. Officiating at the services was Minister Mike Vernon. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, Soloist, DeLores Shadel, Organist. Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Escorts were: Steve Belshe, Jack Anderson, Keith Lundh, James Tanner, Lee Carnes, Bill DeBerry. Under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.

William Starmer, was born October 14, 1889 in Harrison County, Missouri, the son of John W. and Dona Darrell Starmer, and departed this life December 6, 1983 in Richland, after a long illness.

On October 22, 1922 he was married to Blanche Harris at Richland, Missouri and to this union was born three children.

He and his family have lived in the Richland vicinity more than sixty one years. When he was a young man he learned the auction trade at Chillicothe, Missouri and was in this business along with farming for many years.

He was a good husband and father and loved his family very much. He believed in God and the Lord Jesus Christ and said many times he was ready to leave this world.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche, two sons, William and Robert, both of Richland, one daughter, Rosemary Bohannon; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; one brother, John W. Starmer of Richland; and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mrs. Grace Tabor.

Services were under direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.
