Verl Edward Hulsey 1934-1984

Verl Edward Hulsey, son of Ed and Clelia Crumley Hulsey, was born January 6, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life December 16, 1984 as a result of a bus-pedestrian accident in St. Louis. At the time of his passing he had attained the age of 50 years, 11 minths, and 10 days.

He accepted Christ as his personal saviour and was baptized into Wetzel Memorial Baptist Church, Kirkwood, Missouri, easter 1947 along with his brother, Lonney.

He was a movie enthusiast, enjoyed reading and listening to good music. He kept an elaborate and very detailed diary. He lived in a Boarding Home in South St. Louis, and was under constant medical care.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Those left to mourn his passing are his father, Ed Hulsey, Richland, Missouri; two brothers: Ivan Hulsey of Denver, Colorado, and Rev. Lonney Hulsey of Albia, Iowa; one sister: Geraldine Fuchs of St. Louis, Missouri; aunts, uncles, nieces, one nephew, and other relatives and friends.

Services were held Wednesday, December 19, 1984, 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Chapel with Minister Raymond McClary officiating.

Music was provided by DeLores Shadel as organist.

Escorts were family members.

Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapel of Richland.
