Robert Jackson Wall 1914-1984

Robert Jackson Wall, son of Edgar Wall and Cora Long Wall, was born December 23, 1914 at Hawkeye, Missouri and departed this life in Columbia, Missouri, December 15, 1984 after a long illness. At the time of his passing, he had attained the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 22 days.

He was united in marriage to Lila Tynan on December 11, 1976.

His occupation was that of a truck driver and auto body repairman in Iowa where he lived until moving to Richland, Missouri where he has resideded for the past year.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, step-mother (Sophie Rowden Wall), and four step-brothers.

Those surviving him are his wife, Lisa of the home; one son Bob H. Wall, Richland,Missouri; two brothers, Elda Wall, Seatlle, Washington, and Frank Wall, Charles City, Iowa; one sister Helen Herrington, Richland,Missouri; four step-children, Danny J. (Jim), Dennis, and Steve Tynan, and Jan Miller, all of Charles City, Iowa, three grandchildren, three step grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services were held Tuesday, December 18, 1984 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Davenport officiating.

Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, soloist and DeLores Shadel, organist.

Escorts were: Bobbie Rowden, Dennis Luttrell, Ervin Linde, Dennis Lawrence, Jack McDowell, and Darrell Osborne.

Honorary escort was Virgil Denton.

Burial was in the Mt. Union Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapel.
