Riddle Cemetery is most likely named after the Riddle family who settled near a ford of the Gasconade River. This cemetery has about 46 marked graves and “many” unmarked graves. Tombstone Inscriptions of Pulaski County noted that many stones have been destroyed. This may be due to the graveyards proximity to the Gasconade River. In addition to members of the Riddle family, members of the Cain, Christeson, Cray, Creek, Gray, Haskins, Haskens, Henderson, Jones, Long, and Raleford families are buried in Riddle Cemetery. The oldest dated legible stone belongs to Noah H. Cain, son of G..C. and E. Cain, who passed away 17 October, 1857, at the age of 7 years. There are no stones dated newer than 1898 in Riddle Cemetery.
