Click picture for larger view of Stories Cemetery's location in Pulaski County, Missouri Stories Cemetery, also known as Yarbrough Cemetery, is located in Pulaski County, MO., in west Waynesville, Historic Route 66 West, to Old Settlers Pass Road. The cemetery is located at the top of the hill, near the playground, at Brookview Apartments.
Stories Cemetery is a small, family graveyard with 6 marked graves. There are also unmarked graves here. There are members of the Story and Yarbrough family interred here. The oldest dated stone is that of Martha G. Story, daughter of J.F. and M.E., who passed away 16 January, 1861, shortly after her first birthday. Her stone is in bad shape, broken in pieces, and lying on the ground.
