Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery is operated by Waynesville Memorial Chapel and was founded in 1994 by Bill and Janell Walters, and Randy and Cindy Walters. The first recorded burial was that of Matthew Craig Shelton who passed away 18 September, 1994, at the age of 21 years.
