Ursula Teresa Gruca Morrison 1925-1984

Ursula Teresa Gruca Morrison was born February 20, 1925 in Krakow, Poland, and she passed away in Waynesville, Missouri at the age of 59 years.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Woodrow Morrison, and to this union five children were born.

After Mr. Morrison’s retirement from military service the family made their home in the Waynesville area.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Thomas W. Morrison in 1972. His interment was in the Main Post Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by two sons: Kenneth and Gary Morrison both of St. Louis, Missouri, three daughters: Beatrice Coates and Virginia King both of St. Louis, Missouri; and Linda Nunley of Hemet, California; 10 loving grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 20, 1984 at 1:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Chaplain (Cpt.) Zygmunt Kaminski officiating.

Interment was in the Main Post Cemetery under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Those serving as escorts were: C.A. “Art” Anderson, Jeff Coates, Ralph Gatti, Madison Coates, Lee Nunley, and Ernie Carlton.
