Watts Lawn Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., north of Ross Bridge, in Watts Hollow, near the Phelps County line. J Highway to County Road 6470.
Watts Lawn Cemetery was founded by John Jones Watts, an circuit riding Baptist minister and a Mason. There are over 200 marked graves and 26 unmarked graves here. Family names that are recorded here are: Ashworth, Braiser, Bray, Brookshire, Burnett, Cassidy, Chambers, Clark, Curran, Curtis, Davis, Devers, Gann, Halcomb, Haley, Hamma, Hayes, Hilgert, Hoff, Holcomb, Hood, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keaton, Keeney, Kohanskey, Landreth, Lane, Lawson, Lee, Mabley, manes, McCown, McGown, McMahan, Merrell, Ministers, Mobley, Mooney, Mueller, Preutt, Pruitt, Reagan, Reed, Riden, Ryno, Shaw, Shrout, Sneed, Stroup, Thorp, Thorpe, Underwood, Waddle, Wagoner, Watts, Whittaker, Williams, Wilson, Wolfinbarger, Woods, and Wollsey. The oldest dated stone is believed to be that of Casley Jane Bray who died 3 August 1858, aged 87 years. The cemetery was still in use well into the 1970’s, possibly later.
