Bernice J. Crum 1899-1984

Bernice J. Crum was born in Hancock County, Illinois on November 21, 1899, and she departed this life on January 12, 1984 at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital in Waynesville, Missouri in her 83rd year.

Bernice and her husband Joe made their home for the last 7 years at the Sunset Village of the Ozarks. She was a retired school teacher and had a special love for young children. She also enjoyed working with home design building, she designed two of the homes in which she and Joe had built, and was contractor for one of them.

Memorial services were held Monday, January 16, 1984-2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Village of the Ozarks with Rev. Wilbur Harbaugh officiating. Interment was in the Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Crum is survived by her husband Joe of Sunset Village in Waynesville, Missouri, and one daughter: Mildred (Mickey) Blagg, and her son-in-law Col. Russell E. Bladd [sic] of St. Petersburg, Florida. Four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many friends.
